“My task is not to debate whether I’m a Jew or not, but to figure out what kind of Jew I am. For me, finding a secular Jewish community with progressive politics fits my version of that identity.”
Boston Workmen's Circle
Annual Community Passover Seder
Our 27th Annual Community Seder was another sold out affair, with more than 250 attendees, including 100 Shule parents, students, & siblings. Visit our Facebook page to see some photos of the afternoon.
Passover is the perfect holiday for celebrating the liberation of all peoples, as well as celebrating our progressive history and values as Jews. A truly multi-generational gathering, the seder is fun and meaningful for adults and children of all ages.
The Boston Workmen's Circle Seder features a full meal, lots of singing, craft activities for younger children, and an original, ever-evolving haggadah.
You are welcome to use the Boston Workmen's Circle haggadah at your own family or community seder - you can download recent haggadahs here.
