The Reparations Interfaith Coalition, of which AFREJ/BWC is a core member, is collaborating with the Resource Organizing Project to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-led grassroots organizing in MA. The UN Report on Reparations calls on us to guarantee non-repetition of racial and economic injustice, and many of these needed changes are being fought for by the grassroots. Join the Reparations Interfaith Coalition (RIC) on May 14, 6:30-7:30pm and hear from organizers engaged in building a socially just and caring world outside the carceral and extractive relations of racial capitalism. We will hear from representatives from the Youth Justice & Power Union, Families for Justice as Healing, and Stories Inspiring Movements.
Learn how you can support their work and participate in the big event this summer, the Celebration of Grassroots Organizing, on June 29th!
