Support BWC Social Justice Committee Work

Dear Boston Workers Circle,
I’m often asked how long I’ve been involved with BWC. I first joined when my daughter started Shule in the first grade. She’s 38 now, so it’s been a while!
I’ve been involved in many BWC committees and activities over the years. Recently, I’ve been most excited by my work as co-chair of BWC’s Jewish Muslim Solidarity Committee (JMSC), which reconvened last fall when it became clear that local Palestinians and Muslims were coming under increased attack.
Will you support the important work of BWC Committees by making a donation today?

What I’ve come to realize is that the most basic of actions – standing by the side of our Palestinian and Muslim neighbors, working with them, respecting and acknowledging them as fellow human beings – goes a long way in a world where far too many Jewish people and institutions have opted to treat all Muslims as enemies.
And given some of the plans of the next presidential administration, carrying this perspective forward will be more important than ever.
I am so proud to be part of an organization that supports and promotes these values. Won’t you join me in giving generously to Boston Workers Circle’s Braiding Our Futures end-of-year fundraiser?

Thank you,
Ava Cheloff
