Library
The Boston Workers Circle Library has 300+ books and periodicals that reflect our members’ commitment to Jewish culture and to social justice.
Sign out books & Periodicals
Members can take out books and periodicals for a month. PLEASE sign out your books in the notebook by the window and sign them back in when you return them.
Search the Catalog
Our catalog can be found here. You can search by title, author or keyword. In the record for a particular book, click on “Tags” to find related books. Or enter one of the “tags” below to see what’s on that shelf at Webster Street.
Reserve a Book
Please email the library committee at library@circleboston.org. We will check the shelf to make sure the book is available and let you know Please give us a week to get back to you!
Donations
Donations are appreciated, but because the space is small and shelf space is limited, we need to select books that build our specific, current collections. Please do not drop-off books at Webster Street. Contact the library committee at library@circleboston.org and we will work with you.
Donations of money to buy a book in honor or in memory of someone are very welcome! We have book plates on which to note the reason for the gift and the name of the gift giver.
For general donations (books you think will not fit the BWC Library) we recommend More Than Words, which has drop-off locations in Waltham, Cambridge, and Boston.
