Shavuot commemorates the revelation on Mt. Sinai and the covenant that binds the Jewish people to one another, the divine, and our sacred and expansive relationship to Torah. Many communities celebrate Shavuot by spending the night learning. As we move into the eighth month since October 7th, we invite Boston Jews committed to ceasefire to come together and wrestle with Torah and other texts on the themes of covenant and liberation.
This program will be held at Boston Workers Circle (6 Webster St Brookline), in proximity to the Brookline Community tikkun hosted at KI (Kehillath Israel) on Harvard Street. We encourage people to participate in both!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Cynthia at Nehar Shalom (communications@neharshalom.org) who will pass these on to the organizing team.
