We invite BWC member leaders and community members to join Merrie Najimy and the Institute for the Understanding of Anti-Palestinian Racism (IUAPR) for a special opportunity to grow as a community and move towards taking meaningful next steps as anti-racist allies.Join AFREJ, the Jewish Muslim Solidarity Committee, and the Palestine Solidarity Subcommittee of the IPC in a safe, welcoming, BWC-only space to learn about who the Palestinians are as a people and collectively unpack the false narratives in which American society is steeped.

On Sunday, December 8th from 6:30 – 9:00pm, we will meet on Zoom to learn from Merrie and the IUAPR. After the presentation, we’ll engage in community conversation to reflect on and process what we’ve learned, both as individuals and as members of BWC.

The workshop will help us to:
•    Know who Palestinians are;
•    Describe anti-Palestinian racism;
•    Identify who can be targets of anti-Palestinian racism;
•    Understand the impact of anti-Palestinian racism on health wellbeing;
•    Learn ways to address anti-Palestinian racism.
