Taste of Yiddish: Yiddish Songs Against Kings

Learn a selection of Yiddish songs that expose and resist kings from Pharaoh to today. We’ll do warm-ups, read and discuss song texts, listen to and discuss recordings, and learn songs by ear. No experience with Yiddish or singing required. Lyrics will be provided in Yiddish, transliteration, and translation. Learn more here.
