A Bisl: Parenting Through Covid: Support for Families with Young Children
Parenting Through Covid: Support for Families with Young Children, led by Sandy Sachs
Monday, May 18, 8:30pm EST
During this special time, I am supporting parents in many situations who are home with babies and toddlers while schooling grade-schoolers, and trying to work at home while getting basic needs met for their families. One idea for the BWC parenting group would be to check in one-by-one, talk briefly about this week's parenting successes and challenges with the age/stage of their children, and choose a common issue to discuss.
Led by Sandy Sachs: I would like to introduce myself. I currently work with families of young children at the Family Nurturing Center, a 20+ year old non-profit that offers parenting support and education through the Nurturing Parenting Program, a father's program, new born home visits, a literacy based home visiting program for toddlers (PC+) and Parent/Child playgroups in Boston. I've worked one-on-one with families for the past 45 years and tend to listen closely rather than offer advice! And I sang with ABV for many years.
