Boston Workers Circle receives Steward of Justice Award from CAIR-MA
Boston Workers Circle was honored to receive the Steward of Justice Award from CAIR-MA in November 2025.
Below is CAIR-MA’s tribute to Boston Workers Circle:
“Boston Workers Circle Center for Jewish Culture and Social Justice is one of Massachusetts’ most consistent and meaningful partners in the pursuit of justice. For well over a century, it has fought for the rights of Jews, workers, and political activists while preserving its members’ cultural heritage and radical spirit. Rooted in that Jewish tradition of moral courage, Boston Workers Circle has long stood with Massachusetts communities facing discrimination. Over the past two years, their friendship with CAIR-MA and the Muslim community has grown even closer and more heartfelt.
Through their Jewish-Muslim Solidarity Committee, Boston Workers Circle has worked with us to confront Islamophobia and build relationships across faiths. Just last month, they joined us at the State House to testify in support of the bill to create a Muslim Commission, adding their powerful voice to our advocacy efforts. Our communities have celebrated together and supported one another through both joyful and difficult moments. Members of Boston Workers Circle have joined us for iftars, welcomed us at Passover seders, and partnered with us on advocacy efforts that bring our communities closer and strengthen our shared commitment to justice.
Boston Workers Circle is also a strong and valued partner in immigrant justice, standing with families harmed by punitive immigration policies and supporting fair and humane solutions. Their presence reflects a sincere dedication to protecting dignity and human rights. For their friendship, their compassion, and their commitment to building a just and inclusive Massachusetts for all people, CAIR- MA is proud to honor Boston Workers Circle as a Steward of Justice.”
