Join Boston Workers Circle and Kavod Boston for an in-person training on community safety and deescalation skills! This training will focus less on political education re: police abolition and community safety theory (although we love that too!) but instead is a practical, skills-based training with resources shared afterwards. This training is designed for participants newer to this work to learn and practice how to serve in a community safety role at public events that do not rely on the police. BWC committees are encouraged to send at least one representative to be trained, and BWC welcomes aligned partners to join us and build these skills so we can show up for one another.
