Co-Sponsored by Boston Workers Circle and Kavod Boston (if your organization would like to co-sponsor, please reach out!)
Community Safety Campaign (CSC) was launched by members of Kavod’s Community Safety Team in 2022 after several years of building practices, structures and resources for local Jewish communities in collaboration with non-Jewish partners. The purpose of CSC is to cultivate similar efforts nationally and to develop a long-term strategy to create transformative and material shifts in Jewish communities and beyond.
After 2+ years of a research process, Community Safety Campaign is excited to announce the upcoming release of a thorough guide that provides political analysis, strategic recommendations, and resources for Jewish communities and beyond to take action in bringing “Safety through Solidarity” to life, deeply rooted in Jewish and abolitionist values.
Join organizers of the CSC project in an active conversation, and we’ll also hear from local community safety and abolitionist organizers whose work is highlighted in the guide.
