Directed by a collective of Palestinian and Israeli activists, No Other Land chronicles the resistance of Masafer Yatta, a Palestinian community in the southern West Bank, that face continuing violence from Israeli settlers and soldiers. Filmed over the course of five years, No Other Land documents home, school, water well, and road demolitions and their protests by displaced residents. The film shows a bond of complicated friendship and hopeful partnership between Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham as they work to tell the story of Masafer Yatta’s residents. No Other Land is the winner of multiple awards including the Best Documentary Film at the 2024 Berlinale and is nominated for an Oscar for best documentary.
The film screening will be followed by a brief discussion with two Jewish activists who have spent the last few years organizing solidarity presence in Masafer Yatta.
100% of funds raised will be contributed to a Solidarity Fund to support families living in Masafer Yatta. More info about the fundraiser can be found here.
