Stories from the Egyptian Revolution

Our Jewish Muslim Relations Committee invites you to join us for a program about last year's Egyptian Revolution. Yusufi Vali and Alaa Eldamaty, community organizers with the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization, spent two weeks in Egypt within a month of the January Revolution. They met with over fifty Egyptian activists and leaders and heard first-hand stories of what unfolded day by day on Tahrir Square, what motivated the activists and what sustained them. Come hear real-life stories of the women and men that made this Revolution happen.  While the presentation will focus on stories from the revolution itself, there will also be opportunity to discuss what has happened since.

Snow date: February 29.
