Tu B'shvat Seder

Boston Workmen's Circle, 1762 Beacon St, Brookline

Tu B'shvat is a holiday that marks the "New Year for the Trees".  Join us for a unique Tu B'shvat seder, with an emphasis on environmental concerns, exploitation of farm workers, and the complicated role trees play in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Readings, songs, and poems will reflect the origins of the seder adapted to progressive secular Jewish life in the 21st century.  Ritual fruits, nuts, and drinks provided. Bring hors d'oeuvres to share.

RSVP to the Workmen's Circle office at info@circleboston.org or 617-566-6281

Suggested $5 donation per person to cover food costs.

Co-sponsored with Moishe/Kavod Jewish Social Justice House.
