Water Rights in the West Bank Discussion with 1for3

Join the Boston Workmen's Circle Middle East Working Group for a discussion about water justice in Palestine with Nidal Al Azraq, Executive Director of 1for3.org. 

Together we will learn about the ongoing challenges that Palestinians living in Aida Refugee Camp and the Walaja Village face under Israeli Occupation. Nidal Al-Azraq will share stories from 1for3.org's work of providing Palestinian refugees cultural, educational, social and developmental opportunities with a focus on water as a human right.

Nidal Al-Azraq is a Palestinian refugee and youth rights activist in the Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem. He has taught human rights, theater, led summer camps with the Lajee Center, and produced a documentary film, “Degrees of Incarceration" with Amahl Bishara. Nidal is the Executive Director of 1for3.org.

1for3 partners with the Lajee Center in Bethlehem and is dedicated to empowers Palestinian communities to address environmental health and quality of live issues. The goal of the organizations is to create sustainable projects to rally the community around programs that promote water and food security, better health care, children’s right to play, education, and effective communication through multimedia production. Water is the conduit through which it tackles these other issues. Without reliable water, these other programs cannot exist.
