SUMMARY:Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, June 9th  in person at the BWC building in Brookline (6 Webster Street)\, for our annual member meeting! Dinner will be provided. Dinner and schmoozing will start at 6:00 pm\, the meeting will be 6:30-8:00 pm.  \nWe’ll be celebrating our year together- successes\, committee highlights\, and visioning the year ahead. We will also be voting in new board members\, and appreciating those stepping off the board this year. Check the 2026 slate for new and returning board members here!  \nTransportation: There’s free 2 hour parking on Marion Street and Vernon Street\, and BWC is a 4 minute walk from the Coolidge Corner Green Line stop. \nThere will be an option to livestream the presentation which will cover major organizational updates from the year\, but we will not be able to take questions and comments live. Both members who join to watch the presentation virtually and members who join in-person will have the opportunity to vote on the incoming board slate! \nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be able to show the film Sabbath Queen to the BWC community! Please come watch and join in an intergenerational conversation about it afterward. \nAbout the film:  \nFilmed over 21 years\, Sabbath Queen follows Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie’s epic journey as the dynastic heir of 38 generations of Orthodox rabbis including the Chief Rabbis of Israel. He is torn between rejecting and embracing his destiny\, and becomes a drag-queen rebel\, a queer bio-dad\, and the founder of Lab/Shul—an everybody-friendly\, God-optional\, artist-driven\, pop-up experimental congregation. SUMMARY:BWC at World Fellowship
DESCRIPTION:Join BWC members on a fun member retreat at World Fellowship Center in Albany\, New Hampshire Friday\, July 10 – Sunday\, July 12.  \nThe weekend is filled with a range of organized to spontaneous outdoor  adventures including: hikes\, swimming/ boating at the local pond\, or curling up with a good book or art project at the lodge. All meals are included and served in the dining hall. \nFriday evening features fun night / talent show. Saturday could be a trip to the Tamworth farmers market or other morning adventures followed by a late afternoon BWC wine and cheese (or other beverages and snacks) meet up. We end the night with a live band and fire pit.
