DESCRIPTION:At a time of increasing authoritarianism in the United States\, in Israel/Palestine\, and beyond\, it can feel challenging to envision a more just world is possible where all peoples are free. Now is the time to learn from our ancestors\, elders\, and each other about how to resist through anti-fascist\, anti-authoritarian\, and anti-militaristic strategies and build a community and coalition that can sustain us. We aim to build a space for hope and action that can counteract complacency and despair. \nOur workshops will center Jewish leftist perspectives + teachings often left out of the Jewish mainstream and a commitment to liberation for Palestinians\, Jews\, and all peoples affected by systems of oppression. We commit to being a justice-oriented\, connective\, imperfect space\, for those that seek to learn and grow in community. \nRegister here.This event is a collaboration between Boston Workers Circle\, Nehar Shalom\, IfNotNow Boston\, and Kavod Boston.
