DESCRIPTION:Ahead of Thanksgiving\, join other parents and caregivers for a conversation about celebrating Jewish holidays and our capacity for revival and reinvention of tradition. What’s a holiday that you celebrate now? How is it similar or different from your childhood? What is your relationship to Thanksgiving\, and how can we raise our kids to celebrate holidays while also imbuing them with our values?  \nAbout Kumzits:Kumzits is an informal gathering space for Shule parents and the BWC community to schmooze and to learn together. We meet during Shule hours at Shule in order to connect with each other\, discuss important issues\, and to laugh. Past gatherings include discussions of Israel-Palestine\, prison abolition\, Shabbos\, and lots of activities like mosaic-making\, walks to the reservoir\, and bagel eating. Join us for a short\, informal meeting to eat bagels\, connect\, and to imagine our year together.
