DESCRIPTION:The BWC Anti-racism Study Group meets for 90 minutes every month and currently has a schedule of the third Monday of each month at 7:15 \nThe focus is on reading books\, and learning through reading and discussion. The booklist is divided into three\, somewhat overlapping sections: History\, Black Experience and Working on White supremacy\, White privilege\, and ourselves; Reparations\, activism. \nWe would love to have more people joining us! DESCRIPTION:Class Description: Have you learned the basics of Yiddish but want to improve your speaking skills? Join us for a Yiddish conversation class! We’ll spend each session talking\, focusing on practical uses of the language and topics of interest to students. Along the way\, we’ll explore grammar and learn new vocabulary.  There will be plenty of time to talk in small groups\, so everyone can practice speaking in a friendly\, low-stress environment. \nLevel Description: This class is geared towards advanced beginner-intermediate Yiddish learners. Students should be familiar with the past\, present\, and future tenses. Students are not required to know the alef-beys. \nCost: $30 for all three classes ($10/class) with pre-registrations and $15 per class at the door.  The payment can be submitted here ( you will also get the link in the confirmation email).
