SUMMARY:AFREJ Fall Gathering with the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA)
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we begin our new year with an in-person gathering at BWC. Following a discussion of AFREJ commitments and coalitions\, we will host a (hybrid) program from 7-8pm with Andrew Steinberg from JALSA\, the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action. We will learn about the bills that JALSA supports in the Massachusetts State Legislature to achieve economic justice\, combat climate change\, address the housing crisis\, and advance solutions for other pressing issues.  \nThe program also includes a virtual action for folks to contact their legislators about these policy priorities. Whether new to AFREJ or an AFREJ veteran\, we welcome you!  \nAndrew Steinberg is an organizer for the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA).
