SUMMARY:Mothers' Day Walk for Peace
DESCRIPTION:AFREJ is assembling a BWC team to walk in the Mothers’ Day Walk for Peace. Happening from 8:00 – 11:00 on Sunday May 14\, the 4.3 mile walk starts and ends at Town Field Park (Fields Corner) in Dorchester. This is the 27th annual walk\, sponsored by the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute\, to raise funds for their work in supporting families and communities impacted by murder\, trauma\, grief\, and loss. It’s a powerful community-building event and is a great way for families to begin Mothers’ Day.  \nWe’ve set a goal of the BWC team raising $1500. Go to here to register.
