It’s not often that a “new” Yiddish writer is “discovered,” but it did just happen. In 2021 BenYehuda Press published a bilingual edition of The Canvas and Other Stories by Salomea Perl, translated by Ruth Murphy. Join us online as we discuss these stories, the author, and present a bilingual reading of her work. Our discussion panel will consist of translator Ruth Murphy and Sheva Zucker, Yiddish scholar and Workers Circle instructor. Hosted by the National Workers Circle.
