“My task is not to debate whether I’m a Jew or not, but to figure out what kind of Jew I am. For me, finding a secular Jewish community with progressive politics fits my version of that identity.”

Join for a pause and moment of reflection with this family-friendly Shabes community gathering during the Days of Awe. Together we will say the blessings over candles, drink wine/juice, and eat challah/bread as we launch into Shabes at home. Optional, but nice if you can set up your table so we can see each other’s candles, etc.
Members of our community of all ages are warmly invited to join to say the blessings and sing together. Children are especially welcome! Please be sure to register.
Speakers/ritual leaders will be recorded. Questions? Contact info@circleboston.org.
Free, but pre-registration is required to receive the Zoom information.
