Mother's Day Walk for Peace
Begins at Town Field in Dorchester, at the corner of Dorchester Ave and Park Street in Fields Corner
On Sunday morning, May 10th, the 19th annual Mother's Day Walk for Peace will take place in Dorchester. Please join the Boston Workmen's Circle Team by walking with us, donating and/or fundraising for the event among your friends and family.
The Walk supports the work of the Louis D Brown Peace Institute, which provides support to families and friends of homicide victims while developing models for peace education and advocacy.

The Walk for Peace begins at Town Field in Dorchester, at the corner of Dorchester Ave and Park Street in Fields Corner. Workmen's Circle will bring a banner and will announce a location for our team to meet and march together.
Here is the schedule:
7:00 AM - Registration begins.
8:00 AM - Speakers. (Our team should gather by 8:00)
8:30 AM - The walk begins. Do all or part of the 3.6 mile route!
10:00 AM - Closing Ceremony

Our Shule is looking for Boston-based teachers for our Kindergarten, 2nd, 5th, and 6th-grade classes! This is an opportunity to teach in the Boston Workers Circle's progressive, secular Jewish Sunday school.
