Acting for Racial & Economic Justice Monthly Meeting

1762 Beacon St. Brookline MA 02445

As white Jews, Jews of Color, and our non-Jewish allies, we work for racial and economic justice in the BWC community, the Jewish community, and the Boston community at-large.

After launching a successful campaign for racial justice to get the Town of Brookline to pass a resolution adopting the Government Alliance for Racial Equity (GARE), AFREJ will continue to work in coalition with other Brookline activists to ensure that Brookline does the work to implement the GARE process towards racial equity in the town.

AFREJ is now also organizing members to support two new racial justice initiatives: 1) Criminal Justice reform through BWCís involvement with the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO) and 2) Immigrants rights work through the Immigrant Justice and Sanctuary working Group.

In addition, AFREJ supports individual actions and will likely launch a new campaign this year.

Come to our meeting to get involved!
