Your role in a 100+ year history

Dear Boston Workers Circle,

Let me start by saying how honored I am to be Boston Workers Circle's new Executive Director. There are no words to express how excited I am to join you in writing BWC's next chapter.

I am aware that as our community enters this transitional moment, the world around us is also in flux. Yet, we are building on a 100+ year history of BWC members who have lived through their own moments of unprecedented uncertainty. They built diverse and powerful Jewishly rooted movements for justice and organized communities that could take care of each other when larger systems failed.

I am in awe of the ways in which the BWC of today embodies this legacy so powerfully as we become an even stronger force for justice, liberation, connection, creativity, and joy.

We get to write the next chapter of this story together. Renew your commitment today to this community and to our shared work*. Thank you for choosing to be in it with us. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all! You can always email me at

In Solidarity,

*This year, we're starting our membership month a little early! We're inspired by the spring blooming, re-emergence, and the energy of new staff. If you join/renew now, your BWC membership will be valid through June 2023.
