Statement on the Hostage Situation in Colleyville, Texas

We are so deeply relieved that all of the hostages at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas have been safely released. We are sending healing and comfort to the congregants, their families, and Jewish communities across the country.
While our hearts ache at witnessing yet another antisemitic attack, we find solace and hope in the overflowing outreach and support from neighbors of Muslim, Christian and other faiths. Again, we renew our commitment to building safety through solidarity. We will continue to fight for the collective liberation of everyone who is targeted by antisemitism, Islamophobia, racism, white supremacy, and the systems of oppression that fuel this violence. Fear will not divide us – the way forward is rooted in love and solidarity.
