Youth | Shule / Sunday School Parent Participation
While the children are in class, adults are encouraged to attend the Kumzitz bagel brunch and speaker series. The kumzitz offers an opportunity to explore a variety of Jewish and social justice themes. And this is where community begins.
One parent from each family is asked to select a job to help the Shule run. Jobs vary in terms of time commitment and content. You might help organize a holiday party or perhaps buy snacks for the kids. Don’t worry, we know that you’re busy! With everyone chipping in as best they can things run smoothly.
A volunteer parent committee sets Shule policy and oversees Shule governance.
