Preschool Playtime: Songs and Stories from the Civil Rights Movement

811 Washington St. #3, Brookline

Looking for a way your littlest children can participate at the Workmen's Circle? Have a child who’s not old enough for Sunday School, or who’s tagging along with an older sibling? Join Preschool (Preshuler) Playtime!

Preshuler Playtime is a monthly playgroup in a Jewish context for parents with pre-schoolers. Each get-together starts with informal and fun children’s activities related to a Jewish or social justice holiday and includes a snack plus lots of time for play, either at a local park or at a nearby home.

Parent Participation in the Shule

Parents are encouraged to attend Sunday morning activities while the children are in class. Among the various learning and community-building activities is the Parent Circle, a four-times-a-year gathering on Shule mornings where parents can get to know each other through disucssions relevant to the Shule curriculum and community. Parents are encouraged to join their children during the school year for two family brunches, holiday parties, field trips and in-class projects.
