As white Jews, Jews of Color, and our non-Jewish allies, we work for racial and economic justice in the BWC community, the Jewish community, and the Boston community at-large.

After launching a successful campaign for racial justice to get the Town of Brookline to pass a resolution adopting the Government Alliance for Racial Equity (GARE), AFREJ will continue to work in coalition with other Brookline activists to ensure that Brookline does the work to implement the GARE process towards racial equity in the town.

Through political action, relationship building, and community education, the Jewish Muslim Relations Committee works to foster positive connections between Jews and Muslims in Greater Boston and joins with the Muslim community in opposing Islamophobia in all its manifestations. 

Our open meetings are the first Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 PM (contact Laura for location information).
