Tashlikh, then March & Rally: Take Back our City!

Boston Common Bandstand, downtown

Tashlikh at 1:45pm, Hatch Shell on the Esplanade

March & Rally at 3:00pm, Gazebo in Boston Common

Join the Workmen’s Circle, Moishe/Kavod House, and members of the Right to the City Coalition as we reflect on our personal and collective shortcomings and make commitments for how to move forward. Tashlikh is a Rosh Hashanah ritual that gives us the opportunity to symbolically cast off our sins by throwing bread into a moving body of water and, this year, we'll march for justice afterwards at the Right to the City action <http://www.takebackboston.org/>! How did we struggle this past year? And how can we build our solidarity in the coming year? We will meet at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade at 1:45 and walk to the Rally at 3:00. If you need help finding the gathering, call Leah at 617-792-7529.

Stand up and march on the Boston banks and businesses that are bankrupting our community. It's time to take back our city and push an agenda that puts us, the people, first!  This action is part of the Right to the City Congress, which is organized by the Right to the City Coalition, and is co-sponsored by the Boston Workmen's Circle. For more information, contact WC member, Eliza Parad, at eliza.parad@gmail.com.
