“My task is not to debate whether I’m a Jew or not, but to figure out what kind of Jew I am. For me, finding a secular Jewish community with progressive politics fits my version of that identity.”
Jewish Cultural Sunday School Open House
Now enrolling grades K-6 for Fall 2017! Join us to explore whether our Jewish Cultural Sunday school is right for your child. The Open House will include activities for children, and coffee and bagels for adults.
Our Jewish Cultural Sunday School engages children grades K-7 in an exploration of Jewish identity rooted in Jewish cultural literacy and traditions of social justice. Through an educational experience based on both classroom learning and community building, the Sunday School (Shule in Yiddish) curriculum emphasizes Jewish history, culture, and progressive values.
